Nicki’s ability to interpret Jazz Classics effortlessly and stylishly has made her a well-respected Jazz singer over the years, being awarded Jazz Yorkshire Vocalist of the year 2011 for her outstanding work with her Sextet. Amassing 2 studio albums and a live CD plus signing to a Distribution deal with label 33Jazz records. An accomplished Pianist, vocalist, recording artist and Session Singer/Musician, Vocal Tutor and Educator, Choir leader and Church Organist.
Nicki is a well known Music Educator, teaching at the Royal Northern College of Music on their BMus (Hons) under graduate degree programme and the University of Hull, Leeds College of Music Alumni and an ambassador for young musicians, encouraging her students to believe in themselves, grow confidence, work hard and find their own unique voice in the pursuit of their own musical journey.
